We are seeking an Account Manager to lead customer implementation and account management across Asia. This role will initially focus on hands-on project management for a large, complex enterprise implementation, ensuring successful onboarding, coordination across global stakeholders, and delivery against agreed timelines. Over time, the role will evolve into a regional account leadership position, serving as the primary point of contact for customers across Asia as our footprint grows.

We are seeking an Account Manager to lead customer implementation and account management across Asia. Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day implementation and onboarding of enterprise customers, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and scope.
Act as the primary post-sales point of contact for assigned Asia-based accounts.
Coordinate closely with customer operational, technical, sustainability, and other internal teams to drive progress and resolve issues.
Guide customers in applying traceability solutions tailored to their industry’s compliance, sustainability, and operational needs.
Manage implementation plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies across complex, global multi-stakeholder projects.
Facilitate regular status updates, working sessions, and decision-making forums with customers and internal teams.
Ensure clear documentation, action tracking, and follow-through across all phases of implementation.
Translate customer needs into clear requirements and feedback for Wholechain’s product, engineering, and support teams.
Proactively identify risks to adoption, satisfaction, or delivery and drive timely resolution.
Ensure strong platform adoption and long-term customer value realization.
Support account growth through expanded use cases and deeper platform engagement.
Contribute to building scalable implementation and account management best practices for the Asia region.

Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English fluency is required; proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or enterprise sales, preferably in SaaS, or other supply chain technologies.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and evolving requirements.
Knowledge of or commitment to learning technical data standards, including GS1 (EPCIS, barcode/labeling, EDI) the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability, and others.
Experience in bridging sales and product teams, ensuring customer needs are represented in product development.
Proven ability to navigate and adapt to diverse industries, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of different commodity sectors; experience in the seafood industry is a plus.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, growing startup environment.
Ability to work remotely.
