As supply chains become more complex, Wholechain makes it easier to navigate those challenges.

On Thursday, April 16th, we’re making traceability data collection and sharing simpler and more intuitive with enhanced master data management and partner collaboration.

As Wholechain has grown, so have the workflows our customers rely on every day. This update reflects how the platform has evolved and where it’s going next.

The details

This release introduces a streamlined navigation structure and a clearer separation between master data and traceability workflows. Here’s what you can expect:

A Redesigned User Experience

Wholechain is now even easier to navigate and use, with Centralized Master Data, a dedicated Traceability tab, enhanced sharing and permissions, and more.

Centralized Master Data

Trade Items, Shared Items, KDE Management, Attachments, Trade Partners, and Locations will now live together in a more structured Master Data section.

Dedicated Traceability Tab

Events are now created and managed in a focused Traceability workspace, separate from product data.

Enhanced Sharing & Permissions

Trade Item sharing now supports scoped permissions, giving you greater control over collaboration.

What Will Stay the Same

This update improves how you navigate and manage information without disrupting your operations. Rest assured, we do not make changes to your data, workflows or integrations.

What You Need To Do

On March 13, simply log in and explore the updated layout. We’ll share a full walkthrough on launch day with additional details and screenshots. If you have questions before then, our team is here to help.
